How to download the Firefox browser:

The Firefox Browser will work on any operating system (that is, if you download the version made for your operating system), and it is free.

You may have to restart your computer once you download this browser. If that happens, just return to the assignments page and continue completing the assignments!

You should always use the Firefox browser to look at the webpage for this course.

Downloading the Firefox browser does not mean that you have to use it all the time. You can still use another browser (for example, Internet Explorer) for your regular web surfing, if you like.

Once you download the browser, to use it:

You will need to doubleclick on the Firefox icon on your computer to OPEN UP FIREFOX.

Then, once Firefox has been opened, you will need to TYPE OR CUT AND PASTE THE WEB ADDRESS OF THE PAGE YOU WANT TO VIEW INTO THE FIREFOX BROWSER to view this page.

If you just click on a link, it will NOT open in the Firefox browser (unless you choose Firefox as your default browser), even if you have downloaded it.
