How to Install and Enable Java on your computer:
The Brightspace Equation Editor has been made using the computer programming language called Java. To use the equation editor and to view equations written in the equation editor, you will need to make sure that you have Java installed and enabled. Here are instructions about how to do this:
To check to see if you already have Java installed, go to the link below, and click on the yellow button that says "Verify Installation".
Then follow any instructions on the page to install Java and/or to update your your version of Java to the most recent version.
If you have gone to the above page and it told you that you have Java installed and have the most updated version, then move on to 2 below.
If you have completed step 1 above to make sure that you have Java installed, but you still cannot get the Java applets to work, check to make sure that you have Java enabled on your browser.
