To Join the Class Slack Page:

To get to the correct workspace for your class, please follow the link I shared via email and in Brightspace the first week of classes.

Instructions:

To contact me during my office hours, first ensure that you have joined the Slack class page. You only need to do this once. This link is posted in Brightspace and was emailed to the class during the first week of classes. It expires one month after classes have started, so be sure to do this right away.

• Once you have joined the class slack page, you can post messages to the whole class using the #general channel.  Please use this only for questions pertaining to the course. 
• To contact me during office hours (you can also try this outside office hours, but I cannot guarantee that I will answer outside of office hours--outside of office hours, if it is not an emergency, please email me questions at profwladis@gmail.com, or at my bmcc email address):  Send me (profwladis) a DM (or direct message). Do NOT send a message to the whole channel. 
  • We can then directly phone each other privately inside Slack, or if necessary move to a Zoom room.
